My recent stay at Manoir de la Touche in Azay-le-Rideau was nothing short of delightful, making it a perfect romantic retreat. The welcoming staff truly impressed us, especially Florence, who thoughtfully prepared a late supper after our long journey — now that’s the kind of hospitality that warms the heart! Our quadruple room, with its charming garden view, provided a cozy seating area and the kind of soundproofing that made for peaceful nights. After days spent cycling and exploring the nearby Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, the shared lounge was a great spot to unwind and share stories from our adventures. The quaint, old-world charm of the property is simply captivating, and the short walk to the town's center only adds to its allure. I left with a memento from Celine, which added a personal touch to our wonderful getaway — just the kind of thoughtful experience I love to share with fellow adventure seekers.
